“Divo” is an old word which refers to the author's childhood and means a miracle, a marvel, a something that causes amazement - Mary believes that her crafts have the same effect!

Everything she creates is inspired by nature, by organic forms, by fairy tales and the animal world of course. “I always try to add my own character to every craft, to use natural materials, to combine ceramics with wood and metal,” she says. “I hope that my works bring smiles to those who see them. That makes me happy as well!”

Imagine a chicken, goose, or another animal, add a drop of soul, a lump of clay, glaze, and bake at a temperature of 1025C. Voila! We got a Divo!
